The Wrestling News is a news show aired on the Arcadian Vanguard Podcast Network. It’s produced in conjunction with the Arcadian Vanguard podcast, and is a product of the company’s Wrestling Media Division.
Several major wrestling promotion companies exist today, including the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), WWE, and the Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW). In 2010, the WWE purchased a majority interest in the Georgia Championship Wrestling (GCW) promotion.
A variety of other wrestling shows exist as well, including the weekly SmackDown, which airs on the Fox network in the US. The company also operates a United Kingdom-based brand, which is called NXT. 205 Live, another WWE show, airs on the WWE Network.
The WWE also produces a number of television shows, including a reality series. Total Divas, which airs on E, is a seasonal program.
Another television show produced by the company is a talent competition, the WWE Diva Search. There’s also the annual Tribute to the Troops, which is held to raise funds for the military. Among the more recent television shows are WWE NXT and the WWE Legends series.
Another example of a televised wrestling event is the Royal Rumble. This is a contest where wrestlers compete for the coveted Royal Rumble trophy. The wrestlers must compete in a number of matches to win the title. Rey Mysterio holds the record for the most times he’s been in the Royal Rumble.
Various other professional wrestling shows and promotions also operate, such as 205 Live, WWF Prime Time Wrestling, and Heavyweight Wrestling.
